I condemn the killing of innocent civilians in Kashmir by the Indian forces. Their acts have exposed New Delhi’s double standards while dealing with more or less similar situation in Kashmir and Jammu.
I request all saner people who matter to use their good offices and prevail upon the government to ensure no further bloodshed of Kashmiri Muslims takes place.
The agreement reached between North Block and Sangarsh Samiti should be implemented with following modifications:
All the Shrine Board members should be J&K state subjects & the Board must be given all the requisite infrastructure for the facilities of the yatris.
But let the local populace & the original owners of the land develop infrastructure & then rent it out to the Shrine Board for the period of yatra.
Above all, the culprits Arun Kumar & Sonali Kumar be held responsible for the current crisis & dealt sternly under law of the land.
The demand for a debate on "INDEPENDENCE OF KASHMIR" is gaining momentum through out the world.
The proposal of liberal Indians of a free & fair dialogue on the topic has created ripples in the saffron brigade & UPA led policy makers at the centre. This proposal needs to be endorsed.
